Habyt launches new flexible living space in Tanjong Pagar

Kada at Maxwell are going to provide a variety of spaces, involving en suite studios and 2- to three-bedroom units. Each unit has a fully set up kitchen space. Visitors can book rooms on a nightly or every week basis, with a 12-month choice also offered.

The flexible home is located inside a preserved 1920s colonial building. The three-storey building, created by the architectural business Swan & Maclaren, was one of the oldest modernist structures in Singapore. It was built to house the St Andrew’s Mission Hospital for Women and Children.

Habyt has recently launched a new accomodation spot at 5 Kadayanallur Street in Tanjong Pagar. The 18-room Kada at Maxwell is the flagship spot for the operator’s Habyt Flex concept, that presents a strategic expanding of the company’s product offerings past long-term co-living.

In August, Habyt Asia Pacific chief executive officer Jonathan Wong indicated that the firm was trying to include even more short living selections to its local lineup. The first properties under the Habyt Flex concept are the 39-room Habyt Novena and the 27-room Habyt Kallang, both released in August. Other properties under the Habyt Flex concept involve Habyt Cantonment and Owen House by Habyt.

The site was granted to Bethesda Medical, which sent a per month rental proposal of $103,000, the third-highest bid cost after Wan Dormitory ($160,000) and The Working Capitol ($108,240).
