SLA awards tenders for Dempsey Road properties to Power Moves and Florte Design
Florte Design’s bid of $17,904 pm represented the 3rd highest rate proposal obtained for the property. Nevertheless, it had the highest mixed score based on both price (which carried a 40% weightage) and quality (60% weightage).
Power Moves’ bid of $41,200 pm offers a 8.4% premium over the following highest proposal of $38,000 pm that was submitted by Lotusonwater Feng Shui. Other bidders include Theta Collective ($22,000 pm), The Smok Hous ($13,777 pm) and Hub Solutions ($7,007 pm).

“Our initiatives to introduce new innovative principles to Dempsey are starting to form,” claims Carrie Wong, director of business planning and property development department at SLA.
She adds that the higher weightage of the premium component in recent tenders at Dempsey is a testament to SLA’s efforts in finding principles that will definitely inject vibrancy to the community.
Power Moves is a pilates center that at the moment operates at Novena Specialist Centre. The studio sent a bid of $41,200 per month (pm), beating 4 other offers for the place.
Power Moves’ proposal consists of establishments like a pilates center, beauty centre, a café, and spaces offering health counselling and some other wellness-based services. The studio is going to also provide community initiatives including outdoor fitness and relaxation courses, walkathons and themed pop-up events to attract people.
The units at 13 Dempsey Roadway utilize an estimated acreage of 5,423 sq ft and have a GFA of about 4,905 sq ft.
