J’den sales gallery draws over 7,000 visitors on preview weekend
At 40 floors and 150m in level, J’den will be the tallest non commercial high rise and the initial mixed-use property development in the center of Jurong Lake District (JLD), Singapore’s 2nd CBD. The 368 units at J’den are a mix of one-bedroom to four-bedroom premium, with measurements from 527 to 1,485 sq ft.
” JLD is set to transform into the biggest mixed-use business and world-class sustainability area beyond the Central Location,” says Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia. “The development potential is immense as the programs for JLD form.”
Not surprisingly, among the many possible buyers are younger urbanites in their late twenties and early thirties, interested in the two-, 3- and also four-bedroom systems, comments Marcus Chu, Chief Executive Officer of ERA Singapore.
“With rates beginning with $2,100 psf, we believe many potential buyers observe the venture as providing a solid value proposal, offered the engaging area of J’den in the center of JLD, its proximity to the MRT terminal, and plenty of amenities in the location,” states Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex.
Furthermore, Gafoor sees “suppressed interest for brand-new private houses in the area” since the previous brand-new release was some one decade back when the 738-unit J Gateway reached the market. “We believe J’den will certainly see a really positive response from buyers and can probably be one of the top-selling properties this year in terms of take-up price,” he adds in.
According to Justin Kwek, deputy CEO of OrangeTee & Tie, the overwhelming response over the saturdays and sunday is also “a testament to customers’ trust in the property developer’s reputation and the strong interest in integrated developments”.
CapitaLand Development’s J’den attracted greater than 7,000 site visitors on its first weekend of public viewing by 5 pm on Sunday, Oct 29, claims the developer in an announcement. Sales reservations for J’den is going to begin on Saturday, Nov 11.
JLD is the 2nd district outside Marina Bay to be offered by four MRT lines, Yip notes. He includes that the Jurong Region Line will be completed by 2029, while the Cross Island Line will be completed by 2032, linking JLD to the CBD, Jurong Innovation District, one-north and schooling centers inside a 30-minute train trip.
” It is just one of the largest preview crowds over the first weekend this year,” feedbacks Ken Low, supervising affiliate of SRI.
” The enthusiastic turnout is a testament to the pent-up rate of interest in confidential housing launches in Jurong Gateway, the dynamic core of Jurong Lake Area, in addition to the outstanding locational and product characteristics of J’den,” states Tan Yew Chin, Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Development (Singapore).
